BENEFITS

  • Quick to install
  • Quick coverage for larger areas
  • Faster drying times
  • Easier pump delivery to restricted areas
  • Reduced shrinkage
  • Increased thermal conductivity

WORK FLOW PROCESS

  • Prepare subfloor to leave a flat clean surface
  • Lay insulation, ensure service pipes are set within so that the insulation lies flat and are stable.
  • Add foam insulation strip to edging to allow for any minor expansion
  • Lay the tanking membrane. A 500 gauge membrane is laid over the top of the insulation to stop the screed from escaping when poured. Any underfloor heating pipework is laid over the top of the membrane and screwed of stapled down at not more than 300mm lengths.
  • Levels are set using a datum point and levelling gauge tripods
  • Screed is poured and tripods removed, surface agitated to ensure a smooth surface without air bubbles or tide marks
  • Surface should be left to dry for 48 hours with windows and doors closed. After 48 hours windows can be opened to allow for moisture evaporation.
